As you know, gatherings have changed over the past few months leading us to re-imagine the format of New York Catholic Youth Day 2021. This year’s theme is “Be the Light” an invitation to our young people to bring the light of Christ into their homes, their schools and communities. This year we are offering both in-person and virtual experience so that everyone can be a part of it. The in-person program will be hosted at St. Anthony of Padua – 832 East 166th Street, Bronx, NY. We will be following all CDC and NYS health and safety guidelines while still delivering the experience that you can expect at NYCYD.
The virtual program will be hosted on our YouTube Channel, http://www.youtube.com/OYMNY. NYCYD 2021 will have live music, keynote, and testimonies by youth, and end with prayer and Eucharistic Adoration led by Most Reverend Bishop Edmund Whalen. To register for the in-person or virtual experience, visit http://www.archny.org/nycyd2021.
We hope that you join us at New York Catholic Youth Day to explore how God gives hope to our world and to allow ourselves to be an instrument, Christ’s hands and feet in this world. If you have any questions, contact us at youthministry@archny.org.
