Below please find a link to the Parents Handbook for the 2024-2025 Religious Education year.

This handbook will also been sent out to all families in a Flocknote.
Please respond to the Flocknote by checking off the "I agree" button for the following statement:

"I will comply with the rquirements of the Parent Handbook."
Check box that says "I agree."

Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year
will begin on May 1, 2024

EARLY REGISTRATIONS FROM MAY 1 - JUNE 30 WILL GET A $100 DISCOUNT

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to register your child in our Religious Education Program! Class size is limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis.
All children must be registerd before August 15th to be added into the class schedule.

Returning Students in Grades 2-8:
Returning Students to the program will receive an email from PARISH GIVING on May 1st.  Please use your log in information to complete the registration process.  After verifying all information is correct, payment is required. The tuition schedule can be found below. After payment is made, you then choose which class/session you would like your child to attend.

If you can not find the email from Parish Giving in your inbox, please check your spam/junk mail folders.  If you would like a new email sent to you, please contact the rectory: 914-478-2822.

Tuition Fees for the 2024-2025 Religious Education year:

• 1 student: $400
• 2 students: $525
• 3 students: $625
• 4 students or more: $725

Sacramental Fees:

• First Communion - $150
• Confirmation - $150

Class Schedule for 2024-2025:
Wednesday Afternoon: Grades 1-4:  OLPH School: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Wednesday Evening: Grades 5-8: OLPH School: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Sunday Morning: Grades 1-8: St. Matthew School: 9:45am  - 10:45am

Please note: financial hardship should not prevent any child from growing in their faith. Please contact the rectory to discuss the possibility of reduced or waived tuition.

New Students Entering Our Grade 1 Program:

• Children who are entering 1^st grade in September 2024 are invited to register for our Communion Preparation program. (Preparation for First Penance and First Holy Communion is a two-year program.)
• Families must be registered members of St. Matthew & Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  The Parish Registration form can be found here: PARISH REGISTRATION FORM 
• Registration for Religious Education is done through PARISH GIVING. Please access the Parish Giving website by clicking on the link/graphic below. From there, you will be able to create your online account in Parish Giving and proceed through the registration process. Please make sure all questions are answered and all information is filled in.
• If your child was baptized at another parish, you must bring in their original Baptismal Certificate, with the raised seal visible. (A copy will be made and the certificate will be returned to you immediately.) If your child was baptized at St. Matthew & Our Lady of Perpetual Help you are not required to bring in their baptismal certificate – the information is already on file with our office.
• Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Tuition is paid through Parish Giving upon completion of the registration forms.

RETURNING  FAMILIES:

Students Transferring into Grades 2 – 8
from a Different Parish:

• Families must compleate a PARISH REGISTRATION FORM  and Religious Education Registration Form, online with Parish Giving, please use the link above.
• A Letter of Transfer from your former Parish, detailing the dates of any sacraments received at that parish, as well as how many years of Religious Education were completed at that parish, is required before your child can be placed into a class. This letter can be mailed or emailed to our office (religioused@stmolph.com).
• Your child’s original Baptismal Certificate, with the parish’s raised seal visible, is required. (A copy will be made and the certificate will be returned to you immediately.)
• Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Tuition will be paid upon registration through Parish Giving.
