Benefits of Parish Registration:
1. Registered parishioners can receive important communications from the parish throughout the year, including Christmas and Easter schedules.
2. Registered parishioners are able to participate in the parish’s CYO Basketball and Religious Education programs.
3. Registered parishioners are able to receive a verification certificate to be a Confirmation sponsor or Godparent.
4. Registered parishioners have the option to receive offertory envelopes and track contributions for tax purposes.
5. To be married in a Catholic church, you must be a registered parishioner of a parish.
6. The parish has your information for Communion calls, if you are ill or immobile, or for making hospital visits when requested.
7. The parish census numbers are a tool used by the Archdiocese to determine how many priests are assigned to the parish, what benefits accrue for the parish and what obligations are owed by the parish.
